Precise Monitoring Guards for Transportation Vibration

Product Principle and Function

Shock labels, also known as shock indicators, are octagonal self-adhesive labels mainly affixed to the outer packaging of goods. They feature a specific impact design with an internal crystal tube sensitive to impact force.

When the indicator is subjected to external force exceeding its set range, the middle crystal tube turns from white to red, and this color change is irreversible.

This means that when your precision or fragile goods experience rough handling or strong vibration due to improper operation during transportation, the label on the outer packaging will accurately record this situation, reminding the recipient that the goods may be damaged. This facilitates on-site unpacking inspection and helps hold the carrier accountable.

Using shock labels is extremely straightforward. Simply peel off the adhesive backing and affix the label to the upper right corner of the package. For heavier items, it is advisable to position the label as low as possible to more accurately detect vibrations experienced during transit.

Shock labels are widely used in various transportation scenarios for vibration-sensitive goods, including but not limited to the following categories: electronic equipment, automotive and parts, glass products and precision components, pharmaceutical and biological products, and chemical items.

It has 5 sensing zones in five colors: yellow (25g), purple (37g), red (50g), orange (75g), and green (100g). Different colors correspond to different external impact forces required to activate the label, and the specific activation force is marked below the front of the label. In terms of sensitivity, yellow is the most sensitive, while green is the least sensitive, arranged in the order of yellow, purple, red, orange, and green. You can select labels with appropriate sensitivity according to the fragility of the goods and transportation requirements.

Shock labels are essentially low-cost and highly reliable risk prevention tools that provide visual solutions for vibration risks in the supply chain through a closed loop of “monitoring – early warning – accountability – optimization”. Whether it is to protect the safety of goods, clarify responsibilities, or improve logistics efficiency, their value runs through the entire transportation chain, making them particularly suitable for enterprises and scenarios with strict quality control requirements.
